Eurovision Dance Contest 2007
Well the 1st of September (8pm) sees the first Eurovision Dance Contest taking place in London. The website was launched on Wednesday, linky. A lot of stuff is still coming soon.
16 countries are taking part. They are:
Austria (ORF),
Denmark (DR),
Finland (YLE),
Germany (ARD/WDR),
Greece (ERT),
Ireland (RTE),
Lithuania (LRT),
the Netherlands (NPO/TROS),
Poland (TVP),
Portugal (RTP),
Russia (RTR),
Spain (TVE),
Sweden (TV4),
Switzerland (SRG-SSR),
Ukraine (NTU),
the United Kingdom (BBC)
Ireland will be represented by Nicola Byrne & Mick Donegan, who still have to announce their dance styles.
The voting is in the usual eurovision style so it should be fun!
Oh, also its being hosted by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman, in English and French!
PS this is the second Eurovision post alluded to during the week!
