Mid Week Tune(s) - Dec 24th (Christmas Eve Special!)

White Christmas album coverImage via WikipediaSo today is Christmas Eve and to wish you all a Merry Christmas I give you a few Christmas songs to get you in the mood for the big day. These are not in any particular order of preference, in fact they are as I think of them!

Fistly we start off with Shakin Stevens with "Merry Christmas Everyone". This up there with my favourite christmas songs and in fact was stuck in my head at the end of November!

Next up we have The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl with "Fairytale of New York". I had a great time on Saturday night acting this song out with one of the girls!

Next up we have Band Aid (the original one) with "Do They Know It's Christmas"

I know these are all contemporary songs so far so to balance it out a small bit here is a golden oldie, its "The Christmas Song" sung by Nat King Cole

Merry Christmas All! Hope Santa is good to ye!

  1. I will say that the best Christmas song is "Baby It's Cold Outside" by Doris Day & Bing Crosby with "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" as a close second mainly because of Home Alone!

    Happy Xmas EE!
