Cork Pride launched last nite!

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Deirdre Clune, (Fine Gael) offically launched Cork Pride Week last night in The Other Place last night. She echoed the sentimenst of Dave Roches Speech outlining how far the LGBT community as come and how in the future there will be no need for pride as a political event. She congratulated the Pride committee for their work in organising the week.

Following the Lord mayor's speech the Cork Gay Choir 'Refrain' gave a excellent perfromance to the delight of those in attendance.
