Oireachtas Adjourned

On Monday I blogged about the upcoming EU Buisness in the Oireachtas this week. This has been changed due to the fact that both houses of the Oireachtas have been Adjourned till Thursday at 10:30 am due to the Death of fomer President Dr. Patrick J. Hillary.

The Dáil will now deal with the Twenty-Eighth Amendment of the Constitution Bill 2008 on Thursday. The Debate will finish at 3:30pm.

The Seanad will have no EU Business.

There will only be one Joint Committee on European Affairs meeting and this will go ahead as a public meeting on the Treaty of Lisbon, in Galway at 8:30pm at The Harbour Hotel.

Also the funeral of fomer President Dr. Patrick J. Hillary will take place today. The Requiem Mass will take place at noon at the Pro-Cathedral.
